24 Aug: Plant milk outreach stall #HebdenBridge

To mark World (Plant) Milk Day and Animal Aid’s Dairy Week of Action, we will be holding a stall in Hebden Bridge town centre. We will have information, leaflets, milk and food samples.

If you fancy helping out by handing out samples or chatting to members of the public, contact Kim at Whether you can spare thirty minutes or four hours, every little helps!

If you’re not yet vegan, why not come along to try the samples and pose us your burning questions about plant milk! There may be chocolate…

Can you help on our festival stalls in September? #Calderdale

It’s almost that time of the year again when we bring in and celebrate the summer and harvest, both figuratively and literally. 3 Valley Vegans will be appearing on three stalls in September.

  1. Blackshaw Head Village Fete — Saturday 2nd Sept, fields by the Methodist Church
  2. Incredible Edible Harvest Festival — Sunday 17th Sept, Pollination St behind Todmorden Market
  3. 3VV info stall on the Market — Thursday 21st Sept, Todmorden open market

We are looking for volunteers to help with whatever aspect of running these that you are comfortable with, such as setting up, talking to people, or making some food. Even coming down for even an hour or so would be great!

Can you help? Please email Hilary on if you would like to know more.

Can you help the 3VV stall at the Lamplighter Festival on Saturday? #Todmorden

Lamplighter Festival, Todmorden, Saturday, 19th November – have you got an hour to help?

Once again, we will take a market stall, sell hot vegan street food and provide information during the afternoon of the Lamplighter Festival.  The stall will be set up from 3pm, opening about 3.30pm, and continue during the Illuminated Street Festival. We will pack up when the parade starts at 7pm.

Would you like to make something for us to sell? We will reimburse ingredients costs (receipts please). Food that can be wrapped and easily hand-held. We will probably have hot dogs, sausage rolls and daal/chilli already.

It is usually a busy and fun day and we will need lots of help.  If you are willing and able to contribute some of your time in setting up, packing up, running the stall or providing tasters, even for an hour, please email Hilary at
