We have been invited back to have a stall at the Heptonstall Festival (music and other events) on Saturday July 4th.
Anyone interested in helping on it, please get in touch. It was certainly worthwhile last year.
Come to the Todmorden Carnival, Saturday 23 May 2015 at Centre Vale Park. This year’s theme is “Disney”. The parade starts at 12.30pm from Sanworth Street.
3 Valley Vegans are setting up at 10.00am ready for a 11.00am start. This is mainly an information stall but we will also have tasters and possible cake if we can persuade someone to make some!
Helpers on the day are needed; please get in touch.
Quoted direct from the Yorkshire Vegan Festival website:
Following the huge success of the first Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival in May 2014 in Leeds that attracted thousands of people from all over the UK and beyond, we will be returning to Leeds for the second annual Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival on 13th June 2015 in Leeds Town Hall. The Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival, WinterFest and the Northern Vegan Festival are all run entirely by volunteers to support various animal welfare charities.
There will be 150 fantastic stalls offering a wide variety of vegan products including cakes, chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and much more.
There will be lots of free samples and special offers. There will be an outdoor barbecue, live music, a history of veganism exhibit and children’s activities.
There will also be the chance to find out more about the animal charities listed on our website and the work they do. These will range from local to international organizations that would really appreciate your support.
We will have various animal welfare and vegan presentations in a separate room and live cookery demonstrations.
Admission is only £2 (under 16’s free) payable at the door and all proceeds will go directly to our chosen animal welfare charities.
6/7 mile walk taking in Crimsworth Dean and Hardcastle Craggs and ending up at Heptonstall by 3.00pm for the last two Pace Egg Plays. You can then stay for the plays or make your way down to Hebden Bridge by road or path.
Setting off promptly at 10.30 am from Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
The walk won’t be very difficult but there will be some climbs and some rough ground. Please bring a packed vegan lunch, wear shoes/boots suitable for muddy paths and be prepared for rain! We may be lucky but it’s best not assume it will be glorious weather at Easter.
3 Valley Veg*ns’ first Christmas Dinner will be held at The Vedas, Todmorden (get directions here)
We need to know numbers by 28th November, so just fill in the form below and we will put your on the Christmas List! Partners and family very welcome, it will be a good chance to all meet up with all the cooking done!
