Never buy a jar again. This takes no time, has nothing nasty in it (apart from sugar) and tastes much lovelier.
Ingredients
- 100g light muscovado sugar
- 100ml orange juice
- 250g fresh or frozen cranberries
Method
- Bring the juice and sugar to a boil. Add a splash of port if you like.
- Tip in the cranberries and simmer till soft but still with some shape – around five minutes for frozen or eight minutes for fresh.
- Pour into a jar and leave to cool.
- Will keep for a month in the fridge. Freezes well too.
