14 Aug: T-bus 4-mile walk

Meet at Stand A at Todmorden bus station at 11.00am on Sunday 14 August. We’ll get the T-bus to Harvelin Park and walk down from Mankinholes, Lumbutts and Oldroyd and back into Todmorden.

Please bring some vegan lunch with you.

This is a short walk but it does involve some hill walking so wear suitable clothes. There’s no need to book on this event but the bus leaves soon after 11.00 so please be prompt! All welcome, even if you haven’t been on a 3VV walk before.

starting at 12 noon

Bring some vegan food to share, and bring your own plate and cutlery.  This will happen inside or outside of the church depending on the weather.

The August Unitarian picnic has become an annual tradition! Here are some photos from when we did this a year ago.

22 June: An Introduction to Vegan Cookery #Todmorden

An introduction to vegan cooking, 22 June 2016The much awaited 3 Valley Vegan cookery sessions will be starting shortly!  The first, ‘An Introduction to Vegan Cookery‘, will be held in Todmorden on Wednesday, June 22nd, 7 – 9.30 pm.

There’ll be

  • information on nutrition,
  • a recipe and info pack to take away and
  • tasters throughout the evening.

A limited number of places are available so book now by ringing Hilary on 01706 816848. A donation of £3 is suggested to help cover costs.

11 June: Towpath walk from Littleborough to Todmorden

Relaxing and easy towpath walk on Saturday June 11th from Littleborough to Todmorden. This is approximately 6 miles and the walk is easy with fantastic scenery.

We’ll meet at Littleborough Railway Station (near the tourist information board) at 10.00 am and finish up at Hilary’s house in Todmorden for lunch.
