3 Valley Veg*ns was born on 30 January 2014 at the Todmorden Community Resource centre. A group of new, experienced and aspiring vegans met to kick of the organisation of a resource to support, inspire and encourage all those of us wanting to learn more about how to reduce animal cruelty by the choices we make as consumers.
The was a delicious array of food (vegan, naturally) including some fabulous sushi and pancake rolls, some cupcakes, some chinese buns and mini pizzas.
By unanimous vote the name 3 Valley Veg*ns was chosen for the group, to provide a resource to all in the upper Calder valley from Burnley to Rochdale to Halifax and beyond.
