Saker, the bakers in Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, are introducing a range of vegan sandwiches in their Hebden Bridge shop on Market Street.
Did you know that all their bread is already suitable for vegans? They also make great vegan croissants fresh each day (Mon-Fri, butter ones at the weekend) and have a vegan cake most days. There is also their range of pasties and sausage rolls, most of which are suitable for vegans, plus lots of vegan-friendly groceries.
On the subject of vegan options, due to popular demand, the Long Causeway Trading Co have introduced a vegan pie to their range of hand-made savory pies! (It has been tasted by 3vv – verdict: delicious)
The marvellous Long Causeway Trading Company make two delicious vegan ready meals. They come frozen in microwaveable containers. You’ll need a carb with it – cous-cous is really quick.
They have also started making a vegan pesto.
Their bread is also vegan. Maybe there’ll be some vegan cakes soon, who knows.
Long Causeway sell at various markets around the area, including Hebden Bridge and Todmorden on Thursday, Saturdays and some Sundays.
Bravo – thanks, Long Causeway.
Good old Lidl has some vegan Easter eggs, reviewed by Veganoo.
Vegan store have a nice range of Easter treats.
There’s delicious Moo-Free (my favourites for milk and white choc). Stocked at Waitrose, apparently)
We will hold a chocolate tasting at some stage soon – who’s up for joining in?!
Great news, Valley Organics in Hebden Bridge are now stocking Vegusto vegan cheese, a favourite with the group.
